Glacier Peak Pet Intolerance Test
Not a traditional allergy test—this is an energetic scan for food and environmental stressors.
What It Is:
The Glacier Peak Holistics Pet Wellness Life Stress Scan uses biofeedback (specifically saliva and hair samples) to energetically assess over 300 food and environmental factors that may be stressing your dog’s system. It’s commonly referred to as an “intolerance test,” but it’s important to note: this is not a serum IgE allergy test like those performed by veterinarians.
Instead, it’s more similar to muscle testing or applied kinesiology—a form of energetic assessment used in holistic and integrative wellness.
What It Tests:
Over 200 food ingredients including meats, grains, fruits, vegetables, preservatives, and common additives
Household/environmental exposures such as grasses, cleaning products, molds, dust mites, and pollens
Common potential stressors like vaccines, pharmaceuticals, and flea/tick preventives
How It Works:
You collect a saliva and hair sample from your dog using the provided kit
Samples are mailed to Glacier Peak Holistics’ lab
Results are typically available within 7–10 business days
Results come with a detailed stressor profile and suggestions for eliminating or rotating out certain foods or exposures
Important Notes:
This is a non-invasive, holistic test
Not recognized as a diagnostic tool by conventional veterinary medicine
Useful for identifying patterns of intolerance, not diagnosing immune-mediated allergies
Often used in elimination diet planning or rotational feeding adjustments
Can help reduce chronic inflammation and digestive upset by removing energetic stressors
When This May Help:
Chronic itching, licking, or hot spots
Ear infections
Soft stool, gas, or inconsistent digestion
Mood or behavioral fluctuations (due to food sensitivities)
History of over-vaccination or pharmaceutical exposure
My Take as a Holistic Pet Coach:
I don’t treat this test as an absolute. Rather, it’s a tool in our toolbox to guide smarter food choices and identify patterns that may be contributing to low-grade inflammation or immune stress. I often pair this test with elimination diets or gut reset protocols for better results.
