Holistic Pet Health Consultations & Canine Nutrition Support
Sometimes you know exactly what you need help with. Other times you simply know that your dog is not doing as well as you want and you are tired of piecing together food advice, supplements, medications, Facebook recommendations and a dozen different opinions on your own.
This is where I come in. I work with dog parents who want someone to look at the bigger picture — not only the diagnosis, but the food, symptoms, bloodwork, medications, environment, history, lifestyle and the patterns that make your dog different from every other dog with the same condition.
You do not need to arrive knowing what your dog needs. You do not need to choose the herb, figure out the food, diagnose the imbalance or walk in with a perfectly organized plan.
Bring me the dog, the history, what you already know and what has you worried. We will sort through it together and decide what deserves attention first.
What I Help With
My work spans nutrition, prevention, chronic health concerns, senior wellness and complicated cases where several things may be happening at once. Some of the dogs I work with have a formal diagnosis. Others have recurring symptoms, changing behavior, poor digestion, declining energy or a pet parent who simply knows something is off.
Your veterinarian remains responsible for diagnosis, laboratory testing, prescriptions, surgery, emergency care and medical treatment. My work sits alongside that care, helping you understand the nutrition, lifestyle and holistic support that may fit your dog.
Choose the Amount of Support You Need
The biggest difference between these services is not how many things I can recommend. It is how much time we have to understand the dog, put changes into practice and, when needed, see what happens next.
Wellness Roadmap
A focused consultation and personalized starting direction when you need professional perspective without a longer support package.
Foundational Support
Enough time to understand the picture, build the initial plan, begin implementing it and make early adjustments.
Transformation Support
For recurring symptoms and layered concerns where we need enough time to watch patterns and refine the approach.
Comprehensive Support
My deepest level of support for major diagnoses, multiple health concerns and complicated cases that change over time.
Wellness Roadmap — $247 / 14 Days
The Wellness Roadmap is a focused way to have me look at your dog's bigger picture and help you determine where to begin. It is particularly useful when you have a defined question or concern but do not necessarily need months of private support.
We may talk about food, supplements, symptoms, medications, prevention, environmental concerns or another clearly defined issue. You leave with a personalized starting direction rather than another pile of things to research.

Foundational Support — $547 / 30 Days
Foundational Support is for dogs and pet parents who need more than one conversation but do not necessarily need a long-term package. We have enough time to look at the starting picture, put the first changes in place and see whether anything needs an early adjustment.
Good Fit For
- Fresh-food transitions and nutrition improvement
- Early digestive, allergy or skin concerns
- Recovery after illness, medication use or another health event
- Senior prevention and early comfort support
- Pet parents newer to holistic care who want help implementing changes

Transformation Support — $897 / 90 Days
Transformation Support is for dogs with recurring symptoms, layered health concerns or patterns that need more than one round of recommendations. This is where having time starts to become especially valuable because the dog's response becomes part of what guides us.
Good Fit For
- Recurring allergies, itching and yeast
- Chronic digestive issues, reflux or changing stools
- Anxiety with physical or nutritional components
- Symptoms that improve and then return
- Organ-support and environmental considerations
- Dogs needing food, supplements and lifestyle changes over time

Comprehensive Support — From $1,597 / 180 Days
Comprehensive Support is for complicated dogs and pet parents who need the highest level of continuity. These are often dogs with major diagnoses, several overlapping concerns, significant medication considerations or a health picture that continues to change.
Six months gives us room to reconsider priorities as new information comes in rather than trying to predict the entire course of a complicated case during one appointment.
Good Fit For
- Cancer and mast cell tumor support
- Recurrent seizures and neurological concerns
- Chronic disease alongside veterinary care
- Senior dogs with several health concerns
- Multiple diagnoses or overlapping symptoms
- Cases where medications, food, environment and several body systems intersect
Included
- Comprehensive initial review and strategy session
- Individualized nutrition and whole-dog support planning
- Custom protocol development when appropriate
- Structured ongoing support throughout the package
- Review of changing symptoms, labs and priorities
- Ongoing adjustment and refinement
- Relevant protocols, guides and client resources
- Temporary membership access throughout the package
What Might Come Out of a Consultation?
Sometimes the biggest change is food. Sometimes we discover that the dog is already eating very well and food is not where I want to spend most of our energy. Your recommendations may involve nutrition, a supplement strategy, environmental changes, a condition-specific protocol, an herbal approach, support around medications or simply a much clearer understanding of what deserves attention first.
When I look at a dog, I may be considering:
Depending on the dog, my wider toolbox may include:
That is a toolbox, not a checklist. A good plan is not measured by how many things we can add to it.
Focused Stand-Alone Reviews — $87
You do not always need a full consultation package. These focused reviews are available to new and established clients when you already have something concrete in hand and want a knowledgeable second look.
Dog Health Protocol Review
Already following a dog health protocol — or found one you are considering? Bring it with you. I can review the protocol against a relevant snapshot of your dog's food, supplements, medications and history and help you think through how well it actually fits.
This is particularly useful if you found a seizure protocol, mast cell tumor protocol, kidney protocol, allergy plan, cancer protocol, digestive protocol or another condition-specific program through a Facebook group, website, practitioner or product company.
The Review May Look At
- What appears useful or well matched to your dog
- Areas I would question or want clarified
- Possible duplication or unnecessary additions
- Important areas the protocol may not consider
- Whether medications, food or another diagnosis change the picture
- What seems most worthy of attention first
This is a focused review of one existing protocol, not creation of a complete new protocol, extensive medical-record review or management of a complicated case. If we uncover a much bigger picture, I may recommend a Wellness Roadmap or support package.
Homemade Dog Food Recipe Review
Already feeding a homemade recipe or found one you would like to use? I can review one recipe for obvious nutritional gaps, balance concerns and practical areas that may deserve improvement.
This is ideal for a dog parent who does not necessarily need a complete nutrition consultation but wants to know whether the recipe already being fed has weaknesses worth addressing.
The Review May Look At
- Protein and ingredient structure
- Calcium and mineral considerations
- Fat and omega-3 support
- Common nutritional gaps
- Ingredient variety and practicality
- General areas for improvement
A Recipe Review is not custom therapeutic diet formulation. Dogs with significant kidney, liver, pancreatic, diabetic, cancer or other disease-specific nutritional needs may require a broader consultation.
Focused Support & Add-Ons
These smaller services are useful when you do not need a new full consultation or when we have already worked together and you need help with one specific next step.
Wellness Follow-Up — $75
For established clients who need a focused check-in, review of something that changed, a small adjustment or help deciding what comes next.
Canine Iridology Assessment — $75
Review of clear photographs of both eyes for iris patterns that may add another piece of information to the broader wellness picture.
Ask Dana Email Support — $35 / $60
One or two focused questions that can reasonably be answered without a complete case review, consultation or ongoing troubleshooting.
Prefer to Research & Learn First?
You may not need private consulting yet. The Well Oiled K9 Membership includes my growing library of condition-specific protocols, troubleshooting guides, classes and holistic wellness resources, along with opportunities to ask questions.
My public Protocols for Dogs & Guide Library lets you see what is available before joining. You can browse resources for seizures, mast cell tumors, allergies, kidney disease, IBD, pancreatitis, IVDD, liver disease, mold exposure, senior dogs and many other concerns.
I keep the deeper resources inside membership because I want them used as educational starting points rather than anonymous checklists. If you find something elsewhere while you are researching, bring that too. I have no expectation that I should be your only source of information.
Not Sure Where to Start?

- I already have a homemade recipe and want it checked: choose the $87 Recipe Review.
- I need professional perspective and a focused starting direction: start with the Wellness Roadmap.
- I know I will need help implementing the first changes: Foundational Support gives us a month together.

- My dog has cancer, seizures, several diagnoses or a complicated changing health picture: Comprehensive Support gives us the most room to work.
- I still have absolutely no idea: fill out the questionnaire. I will help you choose the level that makes sense rather than automatically sending you to the largest package.
Urgent / Sick Dog Support — $250
Urgent Sick Dog Support is available for unexpected concerns that cannot reasonably wait for a normal appointment. Because these sessions are worked into my existing schedule, please call first to confirm availability.
This service includes focused review of the current concern, supportive food, hydration and holistic wellness options when appropriate, warning signs that require veterinary or emergency care, and 48 hours of follow-up related to the issue discussed.
This does not replace veterinary diagnosis, emergency treatment, hospitalization, prescription management or a hands-on examination.
Tell Me What Is Going On With Your Dog
You do not need to figure out the service before you figure out the dog. Tell me what has been happening, what your veterinarian has found, what your dog eats, what you have already tried and what is worrying you.
If you already have a protocol, recipe, supplement list, research paper or recommendation somebody gave you, bring that with you too.
From there, we can determine whether you need a quick review, a focused consultation or enough ongoing support for us to keep watching and adjusting as we learn more.
Holistic canine health coaching is educational and supportive and does not replace veterinary diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, surgery or emergency care. If your dog is in distress or experiencing an emergency, contact your veterinarian or emergency hospital.
Multiple-Dog Households
Have more than one dog? In many cases, we can absolutely talk about the household as a whole.
If your dogs are eating similarly and the focus is general nutrition, fresh food planning, prevention, senior wellness, supplement review, or creating a better overall household routine, we may be able to include more than one dog within the same conversation or package.
Where that changes is when each dog has their own health story.
One dog may have allergies. Another may have kidney disease. Another may be on several medications. One may need weight loss while another needs help maintaining muscle. At that point, I am no longer reviewing one household plan — I am reviewing multiple individual cases.
When dogs have different diagnoses, medications, lab work, chronic symptoms, behavior concerns, or more complex wellness needs, an additional-dog fee or separate package may be needed so I have enough time to properly review each dog rather than trying to squeeze several complete cases into one consultation.
If you are not sure how your household fits, submit one inquiry and tell me about all of the dogs you would like help with. I will let you know the most practical and cost-effective way to structure the support.
A Few Final Notes
Support guides or protocols may be included when appropriate as part of a package or in response to an Ask Dana question.
If you begin with one service and realize you need more support, you may be able to upgrade to the next package level within 7 days of the original service.
Prices are subject to change without notice.
Holistic canine health coaching is educational and supportive. It does not replace veterinary diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, emergency care, surgery, or medical advice. If your dog is in distress or experiencing an emergency, contact your veterinarian or emergency clinic immediately.
