The Well Oiled K9 Member Resource Library

Protocols for Dogs, Holistic Health Guides & Natural Support

Searching for a protocol for a dog with seizures, mast cell tumors, allergies, kidney disease, IBD, pancreatitis, IVDD, heart disease, collapsing trachea or another chronic health concern? This public library lets you see the protocols, troubleshooting guides, classes and whole-dog resources available to members of The Well Oiled K9.

I created these resources because dog parents need something better than a pile of random Facebook comments, but I also do not believe a diagnosis should automatically hand every dog the exact same checklist. My protocols are designed to help you understand the condition, see the different areas we may want to consider and give you a more intelligent place to begin.

A protocol is a starting point, not your dog's final plan. Depending on the condition, my resources may introduce food and TCVM food energetics, Western herbs, Chinese herbal medicine, supplements, functional mushrooms, CBD, essential oils, homeopathy, environmental considerations, gut and liver support, PEMF, ozone or other supportive modalities.

Your dog may need two of those things. Another dog with the same diagnosis may need five completely different things. That is why the full resources live inside a membership where you can ask questions — and why complicated dogs may benefit from private support where we can build and refine a custom protocol.

Start With the Level of Support You Actually Need

Sometimes you need better education and a sensible protocol to start with. Sometimes you need somewhere to ask questions about how that information fits your dog. And sometimes the dog has enough going on that another PDF is not going to cut it.

Why My Protocols for Dogs Are Not Public Checklists

I could put every protocol I create into a free Facebook group and let people download the list, buy everything on it and pass screenshots around for the next ten years. I don't want to use them that way.

A seizure protocol for dogs may introduce food, omega-3s, liver support, medications, environmental considerations, essential oils and other supportive options. A mast cell tumor protocol may discuss histamine, degranulation, food, mushrooms, CBD, Chinese herbs, essential oils, surgery and recovery. A kidney protocol may look at hydration, phosphorus, protein quality, muscle condition, urine findings and supportive herbs.

My toolbox may include:

Fresh Food + TCVM
Chinese Herbs
Western Herbs
Essential Oils
Functional Mushrooms
CBD
Supplements
Homeopathy
PEMF
Ozone
Gut + Liver Support
Environment + Lifestyle

That does not mean every dog needs all of those things. The protocol helps us see the possibilities. The individual dog tells us which ones deserve consideration.

A protocol can show you what may be possible. Getting to know YOUR dog is how we decide what actually makes sense.

When a Dog Health Guide Is Enough — And When You Need a Custom Protocol

Sometimes you really do just need better information. You may be trying to understand a diagnosis, improve food, learn about a natural modality or find a sensible place to begin. That is exactly what the member library is designed to do.

Other dogs have a major diagnosis, several overlapping conditions, changing bloodwork, medications that need to be considered, recurring symptoms or a history complicated enough that one generic protocol cannot possibly see the whole picture.

That is where private support has value. Instead of simply asking, “What is the protocol for dogs with this diagnosis?” we can look at what your dog eats, medications, environment, digestion, bloodwork, symptoms, history and what has already been tried. Then we decide which options deserve priority.

And if your dog needs ongoing support, a package gives us something no downloadable protocol can provide: time to watch what happens next. We can build the starting plan, see how the dog responds, review new information and refine the protocol again if needed.

If you want to understand more about why I work this way, read Your Dog Is Not a Protocol: Why I Build Custom Protocols for Dogs.

Looking for a Protocol for YOUR Dog?

Start by searching the library above. The list is public on purpose so you can see the depth of the resources available and find the condition or topic you came here looking for.

If you want access to the full protocols, guides, classes and member discussion, explore The Well Oiled K9 Membership.

If your dog has a major diagnosis, multiple issues or a health picture that needs a custom plan and ongoing refinement, private services give us the time and context to actually get to know your dog.

Educational information only. These protocols and guides are intended to support informed conversations and whole-dog wellness planning. They do not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease and do not replace veterinary diagnosis, emergency care, prescriptions, surgery or other appropriate veterinary treatment.
