Supplements for Dogs
Now let's take a look at getting some supplementation in place for your dog.
Depending on the food you feed (raw is best!), and the overall wellness of your dog, age, and other individual factors -- your dog may need supplements for everyday wellness or some for seasonal support. Seasons of the year and seasons of life.
It's important that you learn to read labels and take into consideration appropriate use -- amount, frequency, duration, time of day, etc as you begin using any supplement for your dog.

SUPER B™ (FOUNDATION) -- Vitamin B is essential for overall good health. We know that Vitamin B can also be helpful in naturally deterring bugs from enjoying a free ride on your dog. How? Vitamin B1 Thiamine is expelled through the skin, and the free-riders don't like it. B Vitamins are especially important when stress is present and reserve stores seem depleted.

LIFE 9™ (FOUNDATION) -- excellent probiotic. So beneficial to gut and intestinal health. Probiotics are great benefit to dog who have been unwell when we need to boost immunity and help support recovery, especially following strong medications, and GI health issuess.
OMEGAGIZE3™ (FOUNDATION) -- Omega-3 Fatty Acids paired with CoQ10 offers cellular support and helps remove oxidation in the cells. It is a fish oil supplement, but from a sustainable, eco-friendly, extremely high quality source. It is also a good source of Vitamin D. We know we need good Omega supplements to help reduce inflammatory response, to support the cardiovascular system, joint health, eye health and the brain.
MINERAL ESSENCE™ (FOUNDATION) -- Ok, yes, this one is tough to stomach. It's hard to even smell. But when you need minerals -- more than 60 of them, this is it. There are many other supplements that may be considered. These are just a few of the common considerations for dogs.
You must also do your research on allergy warnings, dairy content, gluten content, if those are concerns for you or your pet. Read all labels when choosing human-based supplements for your pet -- many kids products will include Xylitol.
