Risks of Overvaccination In Dogs

Is your Dog At Risk Of Overvaccination?

In other words, does he need the vaccine your vet is suggesting?

We need to take a close look at dogs who seem to have changed personalities out of the blue, or developed auto-immune issues, seizures, or other health concerns.

While these issues are multi-faceted in almost every case -- looking at nutrition and vaccines is critical.

If your rescue dog was a stray, owner surrender without paperwork, etc -- it is highly possible that he received vaccines in short succession to other vaccines. Perhaps even duplication of vaccines.

This can be a real problem.

We can't undo vaccines or remove them from the body, but we do need to look at what that does to the immune system and the liver / waste mangement sytem.

Did you know that your dog's immune system is WEAKER after the administration of the vaccines for a period of time? This is why we suggest the parsing of vaccines 2-3 weeks apart for puppies and adults alike so that we minimize overwhelm as much as possible. It's always why we want to BOOST the immune system BEFORE and AFTER administration.

We do this through essential oils and homeopathic remedies.

But for dogs that may have gone extended periods of time, we still have an option to "detox" the body a heavy metal detox, liver cleanse, and immune system boost.

As we go more into the theories of Traditional Chinese Medicine -- we'll learn more about this, foods we should be feeding, etc.

So not only do we need to look at dogs who are now expressing health concerns (auto-immune issues, seizures, allergies, digestive issues to name few), we need to look at dogs who seem to have "sudden onset aggression", agitation, anxiety, or other behavioral challenges that were never present before.

Even if the vaccine was a year ago -- the compounding effects with environmental factors could be catching up to present behavioral or health concerns.
