Healing Your Dog's System Slowly

As we are going through food transitions, it can take a few weeks for gut health to normalize and the skin to heal. This is normal.

Sometimes it gets worse before it gets better as the body "detoxes" and the system releases all the things it has been holding on to. We didn't get unhealthy overnight -- we won't heal overnight.

We need to evaluate for the individual pet if we should look at a cleansing diet, a slow transition or an immediate transition, if we should supplement early for relief and support, or

During any period of time that your dog has skin conditions or behaviors associated with the health issues -- we can offer relief both topically and emotionally. (don't forget that emotional root for you both)

We can do this with essential oils, ointments or misting sprays, shampoo, soaks, etc. Depending on the condition your dog has will determine if we want to use a moisturizing approach to healing or keeping that area very dry. (Essential Oil Techniques will be discussed later)
