Soothing Skin Lotion Recipe For Dogs Using Essential Oils
Can be used if your dog has a sunburn.
1-ounce Vitamin E
1-ounce coconut oil
10 drops Lavender — be sure it’s Lavandula Angustafolia if used on sunburns
5 drops Copaiba
5 Drop Roman Chamomile
Stir together at each application.
Increase amounts as needed for a larger volume, but it really only takes a very small amount.
You can also turn this into a misting spray if touching your dog is too sensitive. Just add a little distilled water for dispersant.
