Inhalation of Homeopathy

One of the most intriguing aspects of homeopathy is the way in which remedies are prepared. Homeopathic remedies are made by diluting a substance in water or alcohol, and then vigorously shaking the mixture. This process is known as succussion. The more dilute the remedy, the more potent it is believed to be.

But there is another aspect to the preparation of homeopathic remedies that is often overlooked: the olfaction dosing of the remedies. Olfaction is generally considered the sense of smell, and it is believed that the energetic signature of a substance can be transferred to water or alcohol through its odor.

Must in the same way we consider the olfactory response to inhalation of essential oils, in homeopathy, the olfaction of a remedy is done by opening the bottle and inhaling deeply. While homeopathic remedies traditionally won’t have a strong odor, inhalation of the remedy can be effective.

This does not mean you have to inhale liquid or pellets, simply take a deep breath in from the bottle and inhale the essence of the energy. It is not fully understood how this works but is assumed to be taking in the vibrational energy of the remedy . This can be useful in dogs who are sleeping, unconscious, resistant to oral applications, etc.

Alternatively, homeopathy can be applied topically or sublingually as well, which is more likely to be my approach.
